A Birthday Celebration

Melissa and Samuel made it back to Akron Children's hospital around 7:00 this evening and Jeremy arrived shortly after. After quite a few delays, we are thrilled to have everyone back home. We are also very please to be back at Akron Children's and Samuel is receiving excellent care.

Today marked Samuel's one week birthday. We celebrated together as a family just like you would celebrate any other birthday. Samuel even got some icing all over his face. It's too bad he couldn't get a taste, I know he would have enjoyed it. The rest of the evening was spent reading to Samuel while Melissa rocked him in the special rocking chair she received from our Memaw at her baby shower. We had a great evening celebrating our sweet Samuel and the amazing week we have has with him so far.
